Lose your blues everybody cut

Sometimes,
after
a
hard
day
at
kindergarten,
you
just
need to
DANCE
on a sheet of bubble paper.

I watched her flutter/stomp and had an internal debate with myself: was this a release of graceful aggression or aggressive gracefulness? As long as I didn't get caught laughing, it was fantastic either way.

One of E's teachers called me tonight, unbidden, just to let me know that she had a really great day. I love this school so much, and those teachers, and although she wouldn't dare admit it, I think E is beginning to, too. She got to put the star on the class board in PE today, because she displayed the best sportsmanship, she told me. And they built a city the size of the whole sandbox. And she climbed the spider web all the way to the top. And would I please remember to buy a different kind of apple because she wants to bring in two different kinds because they're tasting and baking apples next week, and wouldn't it be more fun to bring two kinds?

Yes, my love, I believe it might. Pin It
