Better living through geometry

Every evening I shake a handful of the girls' vitamins into my palm and offer them the chance to choose. L goes first and makes her choice. E, because she's older, gets two vitamins, and so she chooses second. Every night, these are the pieces they see:

You might think: parabolic, footballish, triangle, semicircle, crescent.
You might think: pineapple, lemon, grape, raspberry, orange.
Certainly you won't think what my girls say: fish, helmet, person, mountain, boat.

They're weirdos, but I accept that knowing that they don't have any B-vitamin deficiencies.
