It feels so good to say this is the life I want. I have it.
I had the opportunity to write a guest post for Simple Mom while that site's editor, Tsh, vacates her writing space for a few weeks of maternity leave as she has her own third child. The choice of subject matter was mine, but there was no question what I would write.
Raising three kids is not simply raising two kids plus one more. A three-kid family has a different dynamic, and it’s not the default dynamic of most family situations.Go read the rest, if you please. I feel tenderhearted and proud of this one. Go.
Event tickets are sold in packs of four.
If you’ve just had your third kid, you might not be able to fit your kids’ car seats and boosters in your family car.
You’ll go to a restaurant and be asked to wait a minute.
They’ll push a table over for you while a family of four is seated immediately.
You’ve exceeded the norm. Four is a tidy number and five is not, but since when has raising children been a tidy process?

I loved your post there. It was beautifully written. I hope when I start a family I can have a perfect number as well :)
I really loved your post and shared it with many of my friends. We've been a three-kid circus for almost two years now and it always amazes me how surprised everyone is that we had a third child since we already had a boy and a girl. It also is difficult somedays to do activities together since most family passes and such only include two children. What a blessing every one of them is. I couldn't imagine our family without them.
Awww, I so know of what you speak!
Nice post, but it looks like you left your kids in the sun a little too long.
I love that post, thanks. It has advice to live by and things i never thought of. you right when I have another the baby won't remember crying for a minute longer but helping the older child will give balance. I need to save that one.
I LOVED this post. I found it on Simple Mom and just had to check out your blog. My babes are (almost) 4, 2 and 5 weeks. Our 3rd son arrived the day my husband returned from deployment and it's been chaos since. He was on duty today and I just needed to find something positive to read...and I found it! I think I've read your post 5 times today!
Thanks!
