GIGO (girly in, girly out)

It's maybe fitting as we make room for a baby boy in our lives that we have given away SO MUCH outgrown girl stuff:

A word on these bibs. Does this look like a lot of drool bibs? We went through these every few days. E was the drooliest baby ever to be born; she could soak her shirt to her belly button in an hour. She drooled until she was at least 20 months old. L? Not so much. But for E, these were as important as diapers.

I have a coworker friend who has been trying to get pregnant since the days I was still trying not to be pregnant. She's now carrying boy/girl twins, and I was thrilled to pass this crib bedding set from E's infancy on to her in-utero princess.

So all that: gone from this house, from this phase of our girls' lives.  But have I told you what new phase we've entered?

E got her first Barbie for her birthday:

She is a glittery, sparkly, fancy minx. And both girls love her. Big-girlhood, here we come. Pin It

When I got rid of all of my sons baby clothing I realized just how many clothes he had collected. It's nice to know that someone else will be able to use them.

I'm kind of drooling over all those girly clothes...
