I want to wake up in the city that never sleeps

We got to New York last night. E stood in the window of our hotel room, 26 floors above Times Square, taking in all the night energy.

She said with determination, Mama, I'm never going to sleep again.

We set out this morning to enjoy Midtown and Central Park.

We were out for hours. Finally, nobody denied sleep. The girls didn't even wait to get back to the hotel.

Busy day! But it looks like fun, and I'm glad E didn't follow through with her promise to never sleep again!
