He started to look for some food.

We belong to an organic CSA, and we've been enjoying the most delicious produce all summer. Yesterday's delivery included some beautiful-looking corn and I decided to roast it for tonight's dinner.

The natural-minded, organic CSA we belong to grows its crops without genetic modification. Without chemical alteration. Without pesticides.

Without pesticides?

On Friday, he ate through one ear of corn.

We found a little friend. Luckily we found him before he went in the oven. We set him free outside, and left that ear of corn for his dinner.

Will he build his coo coo now, Mama? I want to stay and watch.

Literature brought to life. What a great way to start a weekend.

What i wouldnt give for fresh home grown grandma is too old to put out a garden anymore but I sure remember the days when practically everything on the dinner table came from the garden
